Description

Realizing some modelers may feel intimidated trying to detail their projects, we now offer this optional engine kit for the Albatros B1.
The dummy engine is constructed of layered balsa, with two scraps of 1/8 square balsa stock passing through cylinders 2 & 5 to provide easy alignment.
It assembles quickly and a little sanding will soon see it ready for painting. Our prototype was ready to prime in less than an hour, with another hour or so spent on the finish. It weighs 0.31 ounces (9g). The cylinder bank measures approximately 1 1/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches long, and the exhaust extends another inch aft.
