On the Cover: With the coming of the Douglas DC-3 the age of air travel arrived. No modeler worthy of the name will fail to recognize this classic aircraft in a typical pose. Its Tony Lombardo’s eight-foot RC effort, in Stand-Off Scale, for .45 power. The DC-3 was a most docile airliner and this model has captured something of the same characteristics. A gentle flying twin, our feature for this issue. Kodachrome: by Frank Dellamura.
