Many modelers find shaping struts to be one of the least appealing parts of building a model airplane. We now have a solution for those building smaller stick and tissue type models.
Our preformed bamboo strut stock is strong and light weight. It is perfectly suited for landing gear, lift struts, interplane struts, cabanes, stabilizer braces and other functions on many models. The strut stock can be used as is, split to smaller sizes, stained, tissue covered, or painted.
Each piece is 7 inches long, 1/16 of an inch thick, and just over 3/16-in wide (.2 in). The average weight is less than .9 grams per piece.
