Description

This attractive sport scale model features traditional wood construction to replicate Schweizer’s first powered aircraft in 1:6 scale. Originally designed for glow power, this model would also make an excellent electric conversion. The full scale 1-30 prototype mated a new single seat fuselage with conventional landing gear to a set of S 1-26 sailplane flying surfaces. Despite its success, the full scale design was not intended for production, and the prototype remains the only example.
