I have been flying an Electric Kitten for more than 5 years; I have immensely enjoyed this plane. I have enjoyed mine so much that I have just finished building a second Electric Kitten. They fly very well off of land, but the greatest joy in flying them is as a float plane off the water. When well and lightly built and properly balanced, they will slow down and fly at a speed between a fast walk and a moderate running speed. They all but leap off the water when fitted with floats! Though docile they are also quite aerobatic and will fly any maneuvers the pilot is capable of executing with a rudder/elevator plane; I believe they are also surprisingly agile with the floats installed. I have also been using mine as a tow plane for pulling aloft a small UMX size glider which has also been a very easy and enjoyable experience.
Build one! you will enjoy it tremendously!
