This sleek aerobatic sport-pattern model by Dick Sarpolus has several options available. The plans detail both a sheeted foam core wing and built-up balsa wing. The model can also be built with a one-piece low wing (see right), or a two-piece, plug-in mid wing. Plans show an optional internal tuned pipe installation. Requires 4-channel radio gear.
Our short kit offers a full set of laser cut balsa ribs for the original low wing configuration, as well as the plywood firewall, balsa and plywood bulkheads, and two prints of the paper plans. You can cut up the second sheet to provide templates for the tail surfaces and fuselage sides.
We also provide mat board templates for the the displaced root rib of the mid-wing configuration, as well as templates for the root and tip profiles of the foam wing. Mat board templates will need their edges sealed with thin CA and sanded smooth for best results when used to hot wire the foam wing blanks.
