Purpose built for the 1934 London to Melbourne MacRobertson Air Race, the de Havilland DH88 Comet is arguably the most graceful long distance racer ever built. Ivan has captured its elegance in a practical, lightweight model with electric power. The Eppler 374 airfoil and NACA leading edge cuffs outboard of the nacelles control tip stalls, and make this a safe flyer capable of impressive aerobatics.
