Britain's 4-engine Avro Lancaster is an iconic WWII bomber, and Ivan's model brings it back to life. The wing is built in 3 pieces for easy transportation, and utilizes a Eppler 197 airfoil with NACA leading edge cuff on outboard panels and flaps for slow and easy landings. The hand-drawn plan provides plenty of detail, including the shop-built retracts. The plans have not been upgraded, so the quality of the drawings is not up to that of later designs, but there is more than adequate information for experienced builders.
